Single varietal oil Picholine, a variety that originates in southern France, is a very piquant oil with slightly bitter notes. The Pendolino variety originated in a well-known Tuscan varietyn with a nice pepperiness making this oil a great companion to salads and roast meat. The Ascolana variety yields a very fruity oil whose intensity depends on the level of ripeness of the fruit. Local indigenous varieties Istrian Bjelica and Leccino are also part of our product range.
The primary objective of widening our product portfolio is including single varietal oils for every customer to be able to find a suitable product; from the mild Pendolino and the fruity Ascolana to Leccino and the very intense and piquant Picholine and Istrian Bjelica.
